1 Day Emergency First Aid Course
This course is suitable for people who work in low hazard environments (for example an office or shop) or where Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines indicate staff should hold a certificate in Emergency First aid at Work. It gives learners the skills and confidence to respond to a range of accidents and first aid emergencies they could encounter in the workplace.’

- 10 First Aiders’ responsibilities, reporting and recording, and any new changes.
09.20 Airway and unconscious casualty/recovery position demonstration (video)
10.15 Break
11.00 Choking / Asphyxia / Hypoxia
11.10 Clinical Shock (bleeding & bandages) to include treatment of (Burns&Scalds)
All students to practice bandaging.
12.00 Lunch (to be provided by delegates)
12.45 Injuries to bones and muscles and spinal injuries
13.45 Head Injuries Concussion and Compression
14.00 Treatment Crush Injuries and Amputations
